Henry Gaskin

Managing Director, Henry, shares his time between our Norwich and Ipswich offices and has been advising clients for the last 20 years.  He typically works with families on overall wealth strategies, including pre- and post-retirement planning, estate planning and intergenerational wealth transfer, as well as working with business owners on related issues.

As well as client work, Henry has responsibility for the oversight and direction of our company, alongside fellow Directors, having overseen our investment operations and advice for over 10 years.

Prior to SGWM, Henry spent several years in London, including 5 years at Jupiter Asset Management, gaining detailed knowledge of the workings of a major investment house and completing his Investment Management Certificate qualification.  In addition to his investment and general financial planning qualifications, he’s also a qualified Pension Transfer Specialist.

Henry is married with two teenage children and lives in Ipswich. As well as running, cycling and working on his allotment, he’s also Vice Chairman of Ipswich Rugby Club which uses up most of any spare time in administration, coaching and still (just about) playing……to which his limping around the office on a Monday morning will attest!
