Chris joined us in 2024, however, he started working in financial services in his early twenties. His first role was for a high street bank, where he was introduced to “financial advice”. After undertaking a few of the initial exams he then joined an insurance company’s local office, to complete the mandatory exams and better understand the products.
His next step was to work with a local financial advisory firm as a “paraplanner”, a person who tends to work behind the scenes on creating client’s financial plans, where he was introduced to financial planning. He then worked as a pensions manager for a while but more recently he decided to move back across to advising clients, which he continues to this day.
Chris is a Chartered Financial Planner, which means that he has passed additional exams in financial planning to better advise his clients. In addition, he has also passed a couple of exams with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, to better enhance his knowledge of succession planning.
Chris lives in Ipswich with his partner, Marta. Outside of the office he enjoys cycling and helping to run a local MeetUp group, which gives people new to Ipswich the opportunity to socialise.
